I got one off of a Stone Guardian, which is probably the easiest way to solo grind for the enchant, seems to be very rare.

Can drop from Azuregos, Onyxia and Lord Kazzak aswell. Verry rare enchant, also verry expensive.

Very rare indeed. Dropped for me from an Eternium Box from BWL trash as one of the very last enchants I was missing (pre-BC of course). Basy @ Hellscream EU, Alliance side. I charge 5g for any enchant I can do.

This is wrong, you cannot train +4 stats from the trainer.

You can, however, pick it up from the Thrallmar Quartermaster once you're revered.

No, that's +6 stats, and it can only be applied to an item of lvl35 or less. This enchant can be used by lvl19 or 29 twinks...

29 twinks get questrewards with item levels 35+.. Zealot Robe, Inferno Robe, Raptor Hunter's Tunic...

I got lucky... It droped off an ogre in Nagrand... Im sure its not worth the 400g it used to be... maybe it is im not sure...im sitting here debating wether to use or sell...

This is basicly recorded to drop off of almost anything in Outland and in some Azeroth instances, is the drop rate simply so low or was it changed? I never saw this drop from any of those Outland mobs and I killed ALOT of them.

I got mine pre BC off one of the 4 world dragons. I was lucky enough to be my guilds enchanter back then. it still makes for a great 19 or 29 twink enchant. Great money maker on my server at 350-500g.

I had one drop from a random Asstongue in Black Temple. This is the only time I've saw it in game, across several thousands of levels of characters through Outlands and Vanilla.

Is the Asstongue in the Harem section?

imo, best chant for a 19 hunter, druid, pally or shaman, especially since they raised the req. lvl for +100 HP to 30 (mysteriously, also imo... like seriously, wtf?).

Agreed, this will be the best overall enchant for the BoA Chest Pieces coming out in 3.2, though some people might beg to differ. Expect to see the Enchant Mats go up a little in price, or become a little scarce as some Enchanters might go out of their way to buy all the Mats they can to charge higher than normal prices. Now would be a perfect time to either start farming for the enchant itself, or get the Mats. I don't think I spent more than 5 Gold on all the Mats Required. (This was on Draenor, Alliance side.)

People must confuse this one with 6+ stats that drop in Outlands. This Formula drops in Azeroth from 55ish mobs i'd say. My self never found it tho.

nope it really is dropped by outlands mobs as well as some Azeroth mobs...check the "Dropped By" tab.

This is originally a vanilla recipe, dropped in Ahn'Qiraj and from world dragons, thus the mats and no level requirement. It was then made to drop from various Burning Crusade mobs, too.

Looks hard to farm for this recipe. Can anyone comment on where they picked up this recipe? Thanks

From the looks of it I wouldn't say its "farmable". This appears to be a world drop which means you have 2 options. 1) be lucky enough for this to just drop on you randomly or 2) find it on the AH. Both methods will require a bit of good luck.

I was farming the Sealed Scroll Case in ZA for months, on two toons, every reset. I had stopped doing it for about a week, and I was cruising through TB and found it on the AH for 4g. I bought it as quick as I could, and now I have it! Don't give up hope, my lovelies.

Note: This scroll needs your item level to be above 35 so it wont work on a Heirloom chest :P atleast not in 3.2.2 .. I bought a scroll and it didn't work on my Heirloom chest. Just incase someone didn't know :)

I just enchanted my BOA Champion's Deathdealer Breastplate with this and it [u]did[/u] work.

Enchants requiring level 35 is outland enchants only, since this is [s]from Azeroth[/s] a Classic WoW enchant, there is no level requirement.

i tried to enchant my chest with it said item level to low.. but i tried with a scroll but no luck :/ said item must be 35 or higher :(

Maybe the enchanter selling the scroll used the wrong vellum.

It does not work that way. Hexxist I've seen players in the wow armory with this enchant on their heirlooms, you must be doing something wrong.

II bought the scroll off the auction house and enchanted the heirloom chest on my shaman. Please make sure that you didn't accidentally buy the [b]bracer[/b] enchant with the same name. I almost made that mistake myself.

Best chest enchant for BOA heirloom gear, hard to find enchanters that have this though, The second best is the +3 enchant.

In spite of the wowhead "dropped by" data I am skeptical about where this comes from. Could there be a mix up in the database between this enchant and another one? I find it odd that the mats for it are pre-BC type (Large Brilliant Shards and Illusion Dust) yet it is said to only drop in Outland according to the loot table here. When you go to look up individual mobs the enchant formula is not found in their loot list. Other forums mention this dropping from vanilla WoW world bosses like Azuregos and Ysondre as well as from Eternium Lockboxes yet these are not cited here. I'm wondering if anyone can verify that this has indeed dropped in Outlands as is indicated here.

It drops off Outlands mobs because it was the best of the best of Classic chest enchants. It's level was so high in Classic that it could only drop off raid bosses, at a tiny fraction of a chance (most commonly being Azuregos, Onyxia and the green drakes). Come TBC though, it's just an average level enchant, so it drops off a lot of the TBC mobs.

This is the best little enchanting money earner. Heirloom toons and twinks I thank thee. I can sell the enchant easily for 150-250g or so (depending on competition) and it sells relatively quickly. I try to always have 1 or 2 of these in the AH at all times and usually sell in 1-2 days sometimes quicker. mats are very cheap so all profit. if you see the Formula in the AH pick it up asap if you are an enchanter.

I looked at the drop rate and it looked like the best way to get this was from "Sealed Scroll Case" so I thought I'd try that method. Realised pretty quickly that this wan't as simple as first thought. With about a 1 in 3 chance of getting a stick from a mob and about a 1 in 10 chance of getting the vendor, it is then 1 in 200 chance of the case actually containing this: that makes a 1 in 6000 chance. May still be the best chance of getting it (plus the chance to get other rare recipes and Mojo), but a lot more effort than I first anticipated.

Yeah, they're separate rolls. Does that mean you can't combine probabilities? The chance of flipping 3 coins and them all coming up 'heads' is 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 which is 1/8. Even though they are separate incidents you can combine the probability of each to find out the overall probability can't you? Wowhead shows the droprate from the scrollcase being 8 in 1738 which seemed pretty good to me. I was just trying to factor in how many mobs you need to kill to get a stick and what chance you have of getting the correct vendor to sell it to you. Anyone know if this still drops in Cataclysm and if so what level range of mobs? I know it used to be one of the best enchants from vanilla so it dropped in UBRS and the raids, but then in Wrath you could still get it off the world dragons and azuregos. Now they are no longer in the game. From what I've read, it looks like the pattern is a world BC drop. But I also read it can drop in heroics. That's a wide level range (60-70) and it would be nice to sort of narrow that down. I've been "farming" the scroll case vendor in ZA with no luck as well. I would really like to get this enchant,

But you're thinking of them all together, you need to think of them as individuals, the idea of it, is that the random number generator doesn't look at the whole thing, but each one individually, which, once again, seperates those numbers, and doesn't stack them all. Because you can get a Stick, without even using it. You can get Gunther, and forget about the scroll case. You can get the scroll case then. Getting a stick isn't affecting the Scroll Case's drop rate.

I had them drop from greater darkmoon prizes and raptors in old ZG. From my understanding its any mob level 55-65 world drop. Honestly though this isn't something you farm. Farm gold then buy it. If they leave Greater darkmoon prizes in the game with the new darkmoon faire stuff then that may remain a viable farming method.

I just had this drop off a Durnholde Warden in Old Hillsbrad Foothills instance. Was shocked to see it, as I am actually here farming rep to get the agility gloves enchant! Yay for looting everything!

In two runs without killing anything but trash, I got 13 greens, 1 blue and this recipe. A fairly profitable run from an enchanter's point of view.
