It's almost a tease having them in game with such a ridiculously low drop rate.

just paid 200k for the mount today. Its just easier to farm 200k gold, lol.

Costs about 700K on my server tho, id rather farm the mount at that price point.

This mount just dropped from a rare on my alliance toon on live. I learned it and it says i can't ride it cause its a horde mount. Yay....

Same, I was able to learn it but it's showing up as unusable in my mount list.

Haha, in BFA Blizzard goes crazy with Alli/Horde mounts. Horde has so much cool stuff. Alli got Horses.

It's been hotfixed. BFA mounts now work for both factions.

the Expansion has barely been out a week. drop rates take time to get as specific as you are asking.

It seems every zone has a mount that just drops. It can drop from anything, so keep your eyes out!

I got this mount after about two hours of farming outside of Waycrest Manor. There is an encampment of bewitched guards north of Corlain that respawn very quickly. My recommendation is to get a group of 5 people (2 monk tanks with ox statue would be ideal) and farm the two camps until it drops. Good luck mount farmers!

This really bugs up the area for people trying to quest. It may be efficient, but it's inconsiderate.

What are the coordinates

This awesome fella dropped for me off of Emily Mayville.

Was able to farm the Halberdiers and lieutenants for the drop. They respawn pretty quickly, makes for a good farming area.

Did it Alliance side, the drop rate seems much closer to 0.09% than 9%. Would definitely suggest the monk tanking technique with the Ox statue. Made collecting and killing the mobs very easy.

The drop rate is much lower than 10%. Been trying to sell it and everyone who PM's me complains about how much it is and how easy a farm it is because they saw how good the drop rate is on WoWHead. To give a good idea of how long it took me personally, ~10 hours straight of farming, no exaggeration, got five purple BoE's before I got this mount. I do think I was unlucky, but I killed well over 2 000 mobs.

Well, I have been farming for 20 hours straight, nothing dropped for me. Just one mount and boe for a guy. Nothing for me. I am going crazy. :@

I have farmed with a few characters: got my druid to 120, monk to 115, hunter to 113, all by exclusively farming the mount in efficient groups. I got 3 mounts and no BoE over around 30 hours. The drop rate is more like 1 in 2000 and i have been unlucky.

Droprates seem to be adjusted. Tell those PM'ers to check Wowhead now! :P

It does drop below 120, I got it as a level 119 player. It'll probably drop for any level considering its a level 20 mount.

I can confirm it drops below 120 as well. Got it earlier today on a level 115 alt.

That doesn't mean it can't look more like a horse than a mule, not to say this one does or doesn't

I decided to make up a group and grind mob's at [url=http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Pikeman%27s_Ridge] Pikeman Ridge[/url], using a monk tank and their ox statue to gain aggro of the mobs around the area. There are around 20 that the ox statue alone can pull, then we had the monk chain lightening in the rest of the mobs outside the aggro area.

These mobs have an almost instant respawn, which means plenty of kills and the more chance of a drop.

Safe to say, [item=163574] dropped quite quickly, we saw 3 out of 5 players get the mount during my three hour grind. I obtained mine just over the two hour mark.

Although you are in a group the mount will not be rolled against, it is single looted for one person only.

I earnt 15k in the three hour window (vendoring), I didn't get any BOE's and mainly trash/green BOE's. If you are lucky enough to get an epic item drop, it can be a nice little income on the side of your mount grind.

I wonder if I was in that group with you hah, I was in a group there the other night with a monk tank, and 3 out of the 5 group members got the mount in that time span

They no longer spawn instantly after clearing the camps.

I don't know how wowhead gathers it's data (I always tought it was through the client?), but that droprate is WAY off. I have the wowhead client, I killed 18,000+ [npc=136931], [npc=136930], [npc=133889] etc etc, that could potentially drop [item=163574] (one of them did), I have uploaded that data to wowhead through the wowhead client... but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Was in a group with others, for 5 hours straight, saw three mount drops in total. Don't know if the wowhead client gathers data on personal loot while in a group?
