A BIG must for all priests! This is probably the best you'll get as far as enchants go on your weapons. Unless you're going for more Intel. The only down side to this enchant is it's high costs. If you can't get this I'd highly suggest the +22 Intel enchant
more like ALL serious twinks who are healing are interested in this, at least 19 and 29 twinks [...]
Not that there is anything serious about 19 and 29 pvp twinks... The most popular usage of this enchant today is probably on heirloom items. Be prepared to pay a lot more gold than just the mats.

I just got it on my priest twink. After weeks of requesting the enchant.. Only like 2-3 on my server had it and two of them had leaved.. So it makes me happy that the third person who had it actually logged on! O_o

I have this recipe and someone asked me to enchant their weapon for them. I thought I would be getting a nice tip since: 1) It's a ~1% drop from Molten Core bosses, which practically NOBODY runs anymore. 2) The guy spent a good 10 minutes running around getting the materials AFTER I had left what I was doing to go to HIM. 3) It's a grey recipee which gives me no chance for a skillup. I was talking in guild, enchanted, saw his side go green, and hit OK before I realized the jerk hadn't put any tip at all in trade. I got a "ty" as a tip. All that for an abbreviated thanks. >_< Anyway, the moral of the story is, if you're getting this enchant from someone, tip them well because you'll be spending a long time looking for it otherwise. I sell enchanted vellums of these for ~400+ and the mats cost me about 200. So there's an idea of what a tip should be.

Correct, tips are optional. HOWEVER, because so many people think that way and don't tip. I NEVER enchant in person and only sell the two molten core enchants for 650g. Which = cost of mats x2. I sell several each week. Moral of the story is that your "tipping is optional" theory has come back to bite hard in the arse you and everyone else who thought that way. Good Day, Sir! I said GOOD DAY!

Not really a need to call heirloom owners "dumb" -- and I would agree with what the above poster said about 29 or 30 ... if you can't find someone with the 30, 29 is better than nothing. They exist the way they do because of the fact that there used to be two different stats for power on casters. Rather than remove it from game, Blizzard made all things previously that did one or the other now spellpower. I think that was a great decision, and only fair for all the people who spent so much time and effort to get these enchants since the drop rates on these range from 0.4-1.1% on bosses in M

Due to the existance of a similar enchant with 1 more spp you'd have a hard time selling this for such high amounts, unless ofcourse the buyer is a fool. Simply put the potential buyers are twinks and to them the difference of 1 spp is enough that they will continue looking for the better enchant rather than settle.

If a serious twink has a choice between them, then they'll probably pay it. 200g difference for 1 SP may not seem like much to you, but it's probably not much to pay for them. By all means, if they can't get the 30 SP one, they will probably settle for the 29 SP, but if both scrolls are sitting in the AH, then the 30 SP one will probably get chosen provided it isn't too much more expensive. The golden pearl requirement on the 30 SP one (which I have) is a bit of a pain in comparison to 4 water essences however.

I don't agree with this to be honest, considering the sheer rarity of this enchant nowadays, I think a twink/heirloom owner will be rich enough to pay whatever you want to charge for it hehe. Afterall you're talking minute difference between 29 and 30 spell power

Edit: Changed the word "dumb" to "rich" to spare SpectralDaisy's delicate demeanor and to lessen his crying

I had two of these drop in a single run while solo'ing Molten Core on my death knight. I didn't know how much gold they were really capable of brining in but I had seen on several sites that they went for a few hundred at the very least, so I put the first one up for 500g BO. Sold extremely fast. After having an idea of just how valuable these were I bumped up the price of the second one to 1000g BO. Again sold very, very quickly. Don't let anyone trick you into selling this for cheap. Because of how rare it is and the fact it is used by the lower level twinks makes it highly valuable.

Ran MC the past 2 weeks, I have yet to see this drop. ( This recipe is the only reason I go to MC ) So far both weeks I clear 7/10 of the bosses.

Edit: 3 weeks no drop

Edit 2: 4 weeks - the +30 Weapon Enchant Drops! - Only killed 4/7 before calling it a night. Will do the Other 3 for the +29 or another +30 or maybe a Sulfuron Ingot.

Edit 3: 7 weeks - Another +30 SP Drops! - Past 3 week have cleared the WHOLE instance!

I run MC weekly for the rep and Blacksmithing and Engineering recipes but mostly for the bindings to make Thunderfury . Dispite having a lower drop rate than the bindings, Formula: Enchant Weapon - Healing Power has dropped four times, twice on one run. Sure, it's nice to have it drop , but I'd swap all four for even one of the bindings. I wonder how many bindings have dropped for non-blacksmithers who were looking for Formula: Enchant Weapon - Spellpower or Enchant Weapon - Healing Power instead. Just the luck of the draw I suppose, but I feel with Cataclysm looming there may not be many more opportunities to get anything from MC (including exalted with Hydraxian Waterlords) if it ends up being removed.

Me and my buddy went duo in MC. Demo Warlock/Blood (Solo Spec) DK We didn't really have any huge issues, our only honest to god wipe was to corepups, and just due to lack of intelligence. We got this to drop and he got it. In less than 8 hours, it sold for 5k on Aerie Peak. There's good money to be had in old instances.

As of Cataclysm, there is still no level requirement, though now Enchanters MUST have Enchanting 300 to learn this pattern to cast on a scroll for you. There are still no item level requirements, however, which is awesome.

*patch 4.3 re-confirmation, the above data is still correct. Good Enchanting!
