May not do the most damage, but is perfect for a rogue or dps warrior, even mages or warlocks that want that nice Off-hand frill .

This could be part of a pirate set, if you combine it with some other pieces. I REALLY want to know where the idea pirates use rapiers came from. Everyone knows they use cutlasses, or is this just another unexplainable wow fad that makes no sense?

Rapiers were used by Privateers, Cutlasses were used by Buccaneers. I hope this makes plenty of sense for you Nysonge.

There are not many weapons using this model, its fancy.

Don't pass these baby's over if your thinking of lvling or twinking your rogue to lvl19. I've been dual wielding these on my rogue twink since lvl 11 and they're still doing a mighty fine job! While they only hit at 8.1 dps, with that speed of 1.6 they are very much a force to contend with in that bracket. They're even faster than some daggers at that lvl! Slice and dice! Pick these up and put a +3 or +4 damage enchant on them and you'll be mad killing in WSG. Even better... Sharpen them with a +4 damage sharpening stone and really watch your KBs and HKs rocket up! I can't begin to tell you fantastically deadly these are. I've pwned players 6 lvls higher than me with these! My twink is currently lvl17 and STILL wielding these (and still consistently placing in the top 3 in WSG). I'm actually not looking forward to "upgrading" to the Cruel Barb or/and the Thief's Blade when I lvl to 18-19. Come to think of it, I like these so much I just might keep wielding them when I get to that lvl... Stay tuned.

..... You'r using +3-+4 dmg enchant when your'e a twink? Get some real enchants like 15+ agi, crusader, lifestealing or something like that!

Well, this sword is sort of good, not really, but it's good. I wouldn't recommend it, since you need a strong main hand for sinister strike, but fast attack speed is fun to see, and could devastate a person that isn't ready. But seriously, get some better enchants.

Well, it's not listed as 'no longer available' here, so maybe at some point Blizz will put it back in. Really no reason they shouldn't, it's not like this sword was overpowered.

This item is actually grandfathered contrary to the "dropped" tab. This item needs to be updated.

This appeared on my AH recently. It's on their for 30k currently. Didn't realize something like this would be considered valuable for transmog purposes.

this is why you look every item up on wowhead before you AH it. I sold mine for 1000 gold. no i didnt leave a zero out. I came back to wow after 5 years and started cleaning out my bank to make room. There needs to be an add on for items that dont drop anymore. Call it " DONT SELL THAT "

probably some poor chap that came back to wow and was cleaning out his bags like i did. There is one in AH for 300,000 now, i havent seen one for a long time.

Just to make sure, as of 7.1 NPC [url=http://www.wowhead.com/npc=1725/defias-watchman#comments]Defias Watchman[/url] doesn't exist in the game anymore, so you can't loot this item. However, it is obtainable in the game via auction house, if someone has it in the bags from old times. I guess that the reason why there is no red sign.

I just found one of these un-equipped in an old bank alt I haven't checked in years. Looks like it has been out of the game 10+ years. I could not even see a single one on any AH in any realm I have a character on. Wouldn't even know where to begin in terms of pricing. Interesting...

Checking alts for white/grey transmogs now that those are part of the game (2023). Found an unbound Defias Rapier. I had no idea this was worth anything. Might have to think about it before learning it as part of my own transmog sets.

Just dropped in a deadmines run I queued into, so it seems it's back in the game.

Got this a few days ago and it upgraded to Epic. idk exactly what the odds are of this dropping and then also getting upgraded are, but I feel like I got pretty damn lucky.

This just happened to me as well. one dropped in the pack before the last 2 bosses, the other in the pack just after cookie.

This dropped for me after 4 runs of Deadmines and off the Defias Pirates at the end. Good luck and happy hunting!
