If you prefer to have your profession accessories and tool [u]not[/u] appear as often while you're not [crafting or gathering], visit [npc=192674] in the Ruby Life Pools, /way 61, 70, to set your preferences for your display. Just ask her about Profession tools, and you will get the following dialogue: [ul][li]Limit how much I see my [b]crafting equipment[/b]. Hide my accessories and only show my tool when crafting.[/li] [li]Limit how much I see my [b]gathering equipment[/b]. Despite this, there are many comments saying that a "Hide" request doesn't crafting,/gathering gear. See comments for [item=193482], for example.

[b]Recrafting[/b] [spoiler] [ul] [li]Acquire better quality materials.[/li] [li]Click on the Leatherworking icon to open the Leatherworking Journal.[/li] [li][b]Click on Recraft[/b] - this is the first listing in the pattern menu.[/li] [li]Click on the green cross to see eligible items and pick an item.[/li] [li]Select one of the raw materials and click on it. This opens a row with three icons, with quality ranging from one star to three stars.[/li] [li]Pick the quality of material you will be using. Start clicking on the counter to increase the number of raw material units. The number required will be shown to the left of the row.[/li] [li]More advanced patterns will allow you to add extra enhancements.[/li] [li]Click [b]Accept[/b] the quality and amount of each raw material you are improving, then [b]Recraft[/b]. You'll see a blue progress bar.[/li] [li]If the original item was in a slot in your profession Journal, you'll notice its ilevel and quality have increased.[/li] [/ul] [/spoiler]
