Environmental Emulator

When you use this item, it creates an Environmental Emulator for 2 hours in a location that allows you to change the lighting / skybox in an area. It persists in an area about 40 yards away from the machine. The options are as follows: [b]Peaceful Day[/b] - Brightens the area significantly and gives a blue sky with some clouds. [b]Felstorm[/b] - Tints the area slightly green and causes a large Fel-like skybox to appear. [b]Calm Cyclone[/b] - Tints the area slightly dark blue, like late afternoon/evening. Covers the sky in stormy clouds. [b]Icecrown[/b] - Tints area deep blue, akin to the Icecrown Citadel zone. Turns the skybox into the dark blue of Icecrown as well. [b]Burning Skies[/b] - Turns area slightly reddish, entire skybox has a deep orange haze. Very similar to Classic Durotar areas. [b]Twisting Nether[/b] - Tints area slightly purple, skybox is the same as when traveling through the Twisting Nether areas of Outland (TBC) [b]Kick the Machine[/b] - knocks you back slightly and disables any environmental effects. Does not destroy the emulator.

Do i need to attach some kind of "cloaking device" to make party members see its effects? Friend couldnt see it when i use it while in group although he was able to see the actual machine.

Do you need to have engineering to use it? I made it for a friend and she placed it, but I was the only one who had the option to pull levers.

My wife was able to use it even though she does not have engineering. I think it's as long as they are in your party.

Do we know if you can collect other stuff for it? I would love to have storms and such.

Range on this is so short, it's a cool toy but I wish it would give a buff and let you have it wherever you are.

This thing needs to be able to be turned off by players when they right click on the icon.

so this thing also shuts off the zone music and kindoff relpaces it. well atleast in my alliance garriso when i tried the garrison jukebox with this for a nice sunny lunarfall garrison for a change. but yeah thats how i found tis out maybe thats just specifically for this but with for example the "icecrown" mode enabled it takes ambient sounds from icecrowand plays those

NO LONGER WORKS!

When you have either buff and click on the device, all you see is some flavor text, and no options to control the weather and what not. Remove the buff and it will work just fine. This took me so long to figure out.

Icecrown with "Peaceful Day" modifier is really beautiful. Definitely a great toy for making screenshots. The only sad thing is range, which is around 60-80 yds. Would love the effect to stay for longer in other areas.
