http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=79225864&sid=1 Basically, Mp5 enchants will not stack with equal mp5 gear. It may be the same with +damage and healing, +healing, and +shadow... will have to be tested.

All random world drop recipes are never BOP.

Just look at the dropped by list.

My guess is that it's just extremely rare to see someone selling on AH when they could sell to a guildie or friend till the drop is more common.

First of all, you can tell that this isn't BoP just by looking at the recipe. It doesn't say "Binds when picked up", and thus it's not BoP. It isn't any harder than that.

Secondly, the term "world drop" commonly refers to any item that has a chance to drop off any mob in the world within the correct level range. Things that only drop off one or a few kinds of mobs, whether instanced or not, are not world drops by the common definition of the term. Looking at the "dropped by" list, it's safe to assume that this is indeed a random drop off any mob. You can't farm it, and unless you or someone you know happens to get lucky, your only chance of getting this is through the AH.

As a side note, there *are* a few BoP world drops patterns in the game. An example: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=8029

Post-BC there are BoP world drops. I got the primal mooncloth bag drop, that can also be bought from a vendor in Shattrah City - it just seems these are also world drop for some unknown reason. This is also the reason some enchanting recipes have 2 seemingly identical recipes listed as source.

None of the items you linked are world drops... A world drop has just as much chance to drop off some random mob in SMV as it does in Netherstorm, for example. Each of the items in the search you posted has a set, targeted mob or mobs that it drops off of. Edit: Also, the pattern for Primal Mooncloth Bag only drops off Disembodied Vindicators in Netherstorm, which means it is NOT a world drop.

as far as i know im the only person on horde who can do this on my server. it is a amazingly rare enchant. not the best, but extremely rare. quite cheap too. nice enchant for healers. stack on mana regen if you have mana problems and this is amazing. the +6 enchant to chest, bracers, vitality to boots, the 35 healing 7mana regen to head, thats 23mana/5 just from 4 pretty cheap enchants. i use these on my pve bracers (im a fire mage) not many good bracer enchants for mages except 15spell dmge but that is very expensive atm. (2.1 is reducing mats to 6 instead of 8) on magtheridon horde this has been in the AH only once that i have seen and i bought it.

I have yet to see this on my server's AH, more likely that whoever gets this drop knows/has an enchanter who can use it. This is the upgraded version to the old 4 mp5 bracer enchant you can get from Argent Dawn reputation (at honored, I believe).

Going rate on most servers seem to be around 250-275g for this formula. The listed price shown above does not reflect market value or the fact that it doesn't usually sell at that price (unless you have an uninformed or financially foolish buyer).

Venomizer-3via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

the prices on this formula are absolutley retarded tbh. sure, its a rare formula, but so what, the fact that mp5 is mainly aimed for healers, me as priest would rather go for the healing enchant on bracers, that said, i have a hard time thinking ppl will actually get this enchant for bracers, thus making this a formula you simply buy to increase the selection of enchants you can do, but if you ask me, i'd rather spend those 500-1500g on something more useful...like a Broken I.Win button, kinda same usage if you ask me. And if you'd ask me another thing, id pay what, 50g or so on this formula

I managed to find one of these today whilst farming netherwing exulted. After reading comments about this item I am unsure as what to do with it :/ I would like to sell the item but u have no idea for how much, is any one able to give me an estimate as to how much this is worth? (I know wow head says 5k but reading through the comments and drop rate surely that is bs). Thanks in advance!

Update for Feb 2020; Dropped today off a Sunseeker Astromage in The Mechanar, at the entrance to the lift going to the second level. Another pattern down for my Enchanter : ) This SEEMS to be an Instance-Only drop, specifically instances in Outland, with the exceptions of Kharazan and Old Hillsbrad. Additionally, it appears to be a Rare drop and it is Not BoP, so it can be traded or sold. It may not be of much use now, but it is a valuable Formula for a Completionist, which I happen to be.
