Looks very nice. I got one on my first BE kill in Azuremyst island (some BE ambushed me), but it seems they are not too common. Just don't sell it for 1g if someone asks you! Better keep it or check for a better price in your local AH :)

That is a very cool item for high levels. What's nice about the Blood Elf Mask is low level alts can wear it for any class. Easily sells for 20-30GP on most servers. It looks really cool with http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31263

I got very lucky on this one. Had one drop at Level 6 on my first Draenei character the day BC came out; got ambushed by the Blood Elf around 36,64 while killing Naga, 1 kill 1 drop, and endured 5-10 whispers a day from people wanting it until I banked it!

Unless you're very enthusiastic about collecting this one, I wouldn't say it's worth the time farming. My first time I got lucky, found the bandit in a minute and got the mask on my first drop. Sold it for a mere 2g, thinking I could easily get another. Wrong. 3 hours later I found a replacement. Not selling this one. On the other hand, I'm sure it'll sell very well in neutral AH to blood elves.

In response to my previose post there are some more things that help farming there things witch can help you get 5, 6, or even 10 in an hour. Ok the first one is in my first post but i wil say it any way 1-make a path that you folow, that is counter-clockwise that folows the roads. And if you don't find it on your path search the rest of the roads and if you find it return to your path. 2-make a marco that says "/target Blood Elf bandit" and drag it down to your bar at the bottom of the screen and folow your path and keep clicking it over and over again. Note:If there is something in the area in with this marco targets stuff with a name that starts with "B" it will target it b/c it was designed to target stuff with the closest name possible so ignore it. 3-The most important one of all is HAVE A WAY TO GO FASTER! this is how you can get the masks really fast. if you have a 100% speed increace mount you will probably get at-least 25 and im not kidding my friend has got more then 25 before in 2hrs you can sell them from 5-35G in the AH. (not 100g) I HOPE YOU INJOYED MY GUIDE TO MASK FARMING I HOPE IT HELPS EVERYONE OUT THERE :D

I found this mask after killing like 30 blood elf bandits. Here are some tips to find them. -If you are a hunter use track humanoids -If you are not a hunter make a macro /target blood elf bandit and press it every 3 seconds -Run along the path where the blood elf bandits are found and you should see or hear one -Kill the bastard =D I hope this helps anyone who wants this item. (Also this item looks very sexy)

There are definitely more than 10 spawn locations for the bandits. Using the map pin points here on wowhead back when I was farming the masks for all my low levels, I eventually had personal confirmed spawns at all 20 locations. To see them all simply check out the map for the blood elf bandit: http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17591 or use this map, where I've marked the 20 spawns: Blood Elf Bandit spawn points

I almost cryed when I looked on AH and saw this mask selling for 400gold. As I found one on my first, and only Draenei (now deleted as Draenei look horid) after killing my second blood elf rogue on road side of Azure Myst Isle. This was only 3 days after TBC was released. I was wearing it around and a level 60 human warrior asked me if he could buy it as he had never seen a mask like it before, and I thought, yeah ok, no stats nothing special only some nice, looks he offered 1gold, I accepted. Few months go by, looking on AH, omg........ What did I find? It selling for 400gold. My heart sank, I then decided to deadicate a few hours, which turned into around 5 hours trying to get one, as a hunter using my mount for speedy search and track humanoids. Think I found another? No! Still to this day I look! Im currently a blood elf rogue, on the same server as I once HAD my Alliance. FOR THE HORDE!

the blood elf bandit for 1 is easy to find but not all them drop the mask. i got mine off drop not bought and the blood elf that droped it was bye the ravangers on azuremyst isle. very easy to get its about a 17% you get it.got mine first try.sometimes blood elf bandits spawn in same spot about 2% chance.when i got my mask off bandit he spawned again and i got another one lol

I absolutley had to get this since I collect rare things ^_~ I got 1 within 2 hours and about 14 kills >.< and got another from the 15th :p I gave the other to a friend and am now farming these as gifts ^^ I roughly find about 2 an hour now, I have 3 Draenai's logged at places where I can easily get to his spawn points. The Macro /Target Blood elf bandit is the SHIZZ. make sure ya spam it ^_~

9 hours straight with no luck. The next day I found one after a few hours and then a second an hour later. :-) They seem to be around 30-60g on Bronze Dragonflight. His spawntime is one (1) minute. He has respawned exactly one minute after I killed him at the same place as before, so it was easy to time. There are more like 12 (maybe even 17, if you look at the map here) spawn places. The guides on internet that show maps of his spawn locations aren't complete. I ran around alone for over an hour without finding it, so I began looking at other places and found him.

HelpfulJoe+1via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

The reason why this may have happened is because only 1 Blood Elf Bandit is up at any given time. So you may have been looking in the wrong spot for that whole hour and ran to the right spot when you got tired of waiting (without even knowing! :D)

Ok i farmed for it on my 19 paladin for bout an hour. 3 things that made it really hard for me. 1.No mount. :-( 2.Killed about 6 of them before I got even one. 3.This annoying guy kept on following me for the last 20 mins macroing I got a [link here] and you dont over and over and over again! Definately worth it though.

Myself and two friends have been farming him. Here is what we found. 1. He sometimes spawn instant after a kill in the same place (got up to 4 times) 2. Possible more than 1 spawn. 1 of my friends and I were in two different locations on the map looking for him and we both found and killed him at the same time, this has happened more than 4 times now. 3. Best farming is to lvl to about 15+ create macro /target blood elf bandit and spam away whilst running his spawn route, as can be seen here http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17591 once you higher lvl you can see him from further away whilest he is stealhed. Happy Hunting

I managed to find him twice in about seven minutes on my warrior. I got on my mount, and rode around in a counter-clockwise direction around the paths. Rather than typing '/target blood elf bandit,' or <alt+^> I made a macro (/macro, type in the command.) I managed to get the mask on my second try. Maybe I'm just lucky I guess. It takes about 5 minutes to make a full circle around the paths on Azuremyst Isle on a normal mount, and i managed to find him at least 2-3 times per circle. You don't need to be a hunter to easily find these guys, as they're always right next to the path. By clicking h

I thought I would add a few tips for those low level horde players who don't have a mount. To get there, just follow the usual ghosting routine, once there, the specific spawn locations are as stated, only just to the sides of roads. The most spawn points are along the eastern road, with no mount, checking everything only slows down the process, so ignore the spawn point closest to the boat, and the one furthest north until you're sure that they're there. Basically, just start at the furbolgs, and click your macro, travel along the eastern road north, until you spot him, kill him, and wait

Readily accessible helms don't begin to pop up until the 20s. There's only 3 exceptions prior to level 20: -Lucky Fishing Hat, which requires a lot of patience to acquire since you need to fish in STV for it... -Engineer Goggles requiring Engineering Skills from 100-150... -Hodded Cowl which requires completing a level 28 quest that can be done at level 18. They require a decent bit of work to get them... and are also bind on pickup type items. The Bandit Mask with a +100 HP chant would make a great item for general leveling purposes... and you could easily resell it or use for another alt's leveling. Guaranteed to last you 25 levels unless you are willing to try out those three exceptions I listed...

I don’t think LatroVir was trying to say this is a great twink item because it is not, but what I believe he was trying to say is that it is great to have for leveling which is true. And while engineering goggles are not bind on pick up they are bind on equip and so you wouldn’t be able to transfer it to other characters after you use it on one of your characters. The beautiful thin about the bandit mask is you can put the enchant on it use it on a new alt of yours and level him up...then when your done with the mask you can give it to another alt and do the same thing or you can sell it
