Anzac Dagger

I believe the "infinitive" of this dagger is an RL referance to the troops of British colonies ent to invade Turkey during WWI. Austrailia, New Zealand And Canada

It's actually the Australia and New Zealand Army Corp. Nothing to do with Canada!

I recall pre-BC submitting a suggestion to Blizz regarding this. Basically, it ran along the lines of: "You have 'Ranger <item> of the <blah>' stuff... Rangers are/were known as specialist US forces. As you also sell to Oceania, it'd be nice if you could add something similar for the ANZACs ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anzac )" For the record, it's 'Australia/New Zealand Army Corps', nothing at all to do with Canada.

It would have been slightly humorous if they made a new ending just so it could be "Anzac Dagger of the Ranger".

It would have been even more interesting if this item was released on 25 April (ANZAC Day).

My brother dropped this on ANZAC day... perhaps it is exclusive to that day? Feel free to prove me wrong, it could very well just be a coincidence.

Always wanted one of these just for the name, but have only ever seen it drop once, way back in BC while questing with a guildmate in Veil Shienor...stupidly I let my guildie have it and have regretted it ever since.
