The only class that would get a good use out of it is a Hunter, due them rarely using melee attacks, they use every stat and the this weapon is really fast (bad for melee moves). Or sell to some gold buyer that doesn't know it sucks for meleeing :).

This dropped from a core hound in molten core for us. Our raid leader let the hunters and paladins roll on it first. I was using the Thunderwood Poker and Bone Slicing Hatchet. I don't use it on a regular basis but on longer fights the +spirit and +Intellect is a nice boost.

Most peole who would want this sword cant get into raid instances, myself i farmed UBRS to get one for my paladin ( it is one of the best 2h for seal of wisdom) go to UBRS and wait for the Blackhand Assassins, they have a fairly good chance at droping it considering its epic.

This is a fascinating weapon and a real shame it's not more avaialble. I'd love to get this on a Reckoning/Ret Pally build. The fast attack speed would allow three swings to double hit, plus that stats are great.

So you can have multiple versions... which means little to some... but gives options to others. With this change... you can basically have say... a Blade of Hanna with Crusader, and/or a Blade of Hanna with Mongoose... etc... and if so inclined, can swap em on the fly in the shy hopes of possibly seeing both proc.

Actually, in Wrath of the Lich King, there is a high end talent in the fury tree that allows warriors to wield two-handed weapons in one hand, but they attack 20% lower when the talent is maxed out. This is liable to change, however.

A level 59 twink Ret Paladin would absolutely destroy enemies with this weapon. Huge DPS advantage plus Paladins benefit from all stats. Plus it looks awesome! For warriors it's useless and hunters will find other weapons with more stats for them.

Indeed, but there are better choices, maybe.. Such as Treant's Bane.. These stats are quite low, such as 11 int (=110 mana), not a big difference but might save u sometimes. Depends on what you are looking for :) And about the Unique-Equipped thing, I think 2H's shouldnt be unique, its useless, but better to be unique-equipped than unique, because you couldn't loot another one if you had a chance :)

Its probaly for the expansion, if you look at the leaked WoTLK talents, one of the new fury talents is 'Titans Grip' which allows the warrior to dualweild 2-handers, but 20% slower than normal, and seeing as this wep is the best 2hander for a level 59 in terms of dps and stats, it just makes sense.

This sword dropped in Stratholme from (Maleki the Pallid) Amazing speed, amazing weapon. It's a shame that it was changed to unique imagine having 2 off them on a fury warrior.

Also necessary to mention that this is one of the fastest Two-Handed Swords you'll get your hands on, and thus wonderful for skill leveling. The other one you could grab is Barovian Family Sword from Jandice Barov in Scholomance. On a side note, it's probably the strongest katana you can get your hands on.

It also never drops, so those who aren't twinking at 59 would probably be better off not farming for this and going into outlands to get the greens there. Helboar Cleaver is the strongest katana I've quested for and gotten, which is a reward for doing a quest with sporregar (More of a DK weapon) If you do all of the sporregar quests, you actually get a very nice blue sword which will tide you over 'til northrend with no difficulties at all.

could be a hunters weapon too, imo, intel gives them rap with talents, str is still usefull in melee situation shame shamans can't wield swords a enh could get 33 ap from this, apart from the other obvious bonusses, altough they prefer to go dual wield anyway

The famous weaponsmith Hanna was a pragmatist. He could imbue any number of enchantments into the weapons he created, but he always believed the greatest way to improve a weapon was to enhance the person who wielded it. To this end, he crafted an ultimate weapon for himself — the blade of Hanna — a sword that improved his own body to its ultimate potential. The sword served him well and passed on to his son, who attempted to slay a dragon alone. Since then, the blade has been lost to legend. --From WoWwiki

Regarding the possibility of a Kill Bill reference: It's obscure, and quite possibly a complete coincidence, however the character Elle Driver aka California Mountain Snake, is played by the actress Daryl Hannah. Also "Hanna" is not that different from "Hanzo".
