Crystal Pulse Shield

Undoubtedly the best shaman healing shield until you can get your hands on the epic heroic reward shield, so expect this to fetch a pretty handsome sum, especially once more people start raiding again.

This is great for a Holy Paladin as well. I would recommend getting the +12 intellect enchant on this shield for even more mana and spell crit. If you have the Holy Guidance talent, this will add +12 dmg/heal (from the total +36 int w/ the enchant).

If you're looking for a direct upgrade to this with the same kind of stats, then Triptych ( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28754 ) is a much better choice than the heroic rewards.

Not to be picky about the +12 spell dmg and healing, but 35% x 36 = 12.6 which rounds to 13, so good calculations.

Just picked mine up off the Blackrock AH for 55g bid. :D After looking over the new shields in BC this is easily the best pre-epic caster shield aside from http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27910 which is a Murmur drop. Even though I'm Elemental/Resto I'll be using this for awhile because of the mp5 and because it's just better all around than http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29917

Was doing random quests in Shadowmoon, a Vilewing Chimaera dropped in on me. I kilt it and got one of these. I need to wander around in Shadowmoon more often. Some folks told me I could get over 100G for it, but I think that is unrealistic. Great stats and a neat look to it (although bordering on Mutant Nija Turtle-looking).

You can easily get over 100g for it on my server. Its a great shield and i dont think you will replace it until you do Karazhan

I don't like Demonic Bulwark because no mana/. IMO CPS is better.

Looted today, meanwhile farming knothide leather in north of terokkar forest. With transmofiguration, i think the price will be increased.

The replica Aegis of the Sunbird (Botanica N or H) is easily farmable. It's still a great looking shield though and wouldn't be surprised to see it make 500-1000g

Indeed, though you can farm the one in Botanica (http://www.wowhead.com/item=28316) easily enough, for some people 500-1000g or more is a small price to pay to NOT have to farm it.

think about it. you have a prote pally or a warrior, full heirlooms, reach lvl 69 and go to the transmog guy with this shield and voila, a great shield to combine with their heirlooms. you don't have to wait until you get the other two, one of them you still can't transmog until lvl 70 and both of them are from bosses of your lvl so no soloing. get the queue for the dung (ok, easy as tank), do the dung, get the luck that drops the shield and not the other drops and pray for that dps warrior, pally or even a shammy don't click need and win. 1.000g?, a real bargain. :P

For those of you reading the Aegis of the Sunbird comments, that shield does not have the white, pulsing glow that this one has.

This dropped for me by an enraged air spirit where you do the Teron Gorefiend quest even though the Wowhead database doesn't say it drops from them, but I don't what the percentage drop rate would be.
