Seems good for holy pallys

I bought this design for 1.7k gold and after 3 weeks or so I believe I have sold 1 gem...maybe. I don't know if it's my server or it's just a terrible gem, but beware!

its not AWSOME awsome, but i guess a pally healer would possibly want it (speaking as a pally healer my self, i would use this)

To speak completely honestly, I believe this is the best holy paladin gem.

More like an alternative to the generally-accepted-as-best holy paladin meta gem, [url=http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41401]Insightful Earthsiege Diamond[/url]. But I wouldn't be surprised if the Beaming meta would take the top spot in later raids, when its superior mana-return would become even more... well, superior, as Intellect soars past the 2k mark.

I felt the restore mana on spellcast was not as beneficial in comparison to the crit rating, but with the incoming 3.2 changes to illumination, I'll have to reconsider.

Well to speak completely honestly, i believe that this gem is worthless. #1As a healer or rather holy pala.The 21 crit rating the gem provides is unneeded(worthles) #2As a +2% mana the gem provides for mana users(healer) or rather holy pala is not much.Basicly is nothing. Lets see why.: Holy paladin with 30,000 mana +2% mana(from the gem)= thats 30,600mana (600 extra mana). Well u see its worthless,so for this gem to have any use at all u need alot of mana. PS:Stay at Insightful Earthsiege Diamond. Becouse is worth it.

This gem isn't all that good. The crit is nice, but 2% mana is pretty useless. If you have 20k mana, that's only an extra 400 and while I haven't played a caster in about a year now, I don't think at this point in the game that 400 extra mana is going to really provide much along the lines of casting that life saving heal or delivering the boss killing blow. But it's all a matter of what you casterfolk prefer nowadays. :)

looks good for disc priest, comparable to the [li]Ember Skyflare Diamond[/li]. Anyone know if +2% mana is the same as +2% Int, in terms of maximum mana (need to find out if either of the 2 stack with talents / buffs)
