well, the new bag is big enough for the herbs not to overflow

Gives 5 tailoring skillups per bag created until it turns yellow at 500, for a total of 10 points. I've made two bags and gone from 490 to 500 tailoring. Now it's yellow, and I presume will only grant one point per bag at 500.

You are correct, only orange skillsups can give 2 or more skillpoints

Make sure to craft this bag at [b]"499"[/b] skills and it will take you to [b]"504"[/b] .... its really hard and costly to gain each skill point later :+)

I find that this bag does overflow especially if you have inscription and need to mill large amounts of herbs.

Anyone else wonder why it is the only green/uncommon bag while all the other new profession bags are blue/rare?

I know that the 32 slot Emerald Herb Bag requires you to have revered rep with the kalu'ak just to get the pattern. Kalu'ak are the walrus people in Northerend. Takes about 2 weeks to get from neutral to revered with them. Hence it being blue. Oh and the pattern binds when picked up so unless you are a tailor or know a tailor that went throught it all it's pointless.

Other 36 slot bags are made with more expensive mats ([item=54440] or [item=52980]), while this one costs only basic cloth.

The majority of the others are patterns purchased from vendors, too. Cannot learn from the trainer.

This is a nice sized bag, but i see it's going for 500g+ on my server. However, its possible to get the [item=44446] for less than 40g. The 4 extra slots are nice, but its much cheaper to make and/or purchase the next step down. I have several of the 32 slotters on my inscriptionist in the bank and they work perfectly! I do mill all my herbs and just keep the inks, of course this wont work if you actually want to keep the herbs. But a much better buy for inscriptioning imo. Edit: moved to reply to Holvc

Just bought one for 400g, sometimes I see them for over 1000g, so just be patient.

Yup, one for 450g on the AH right now with the rest closer to 700g. If you happen to have 100 Embersilk Cloth and 40 Volatile Life laying around, you may be able to get a guildie to make it for ya for free.

this bag used to go for 1kg+ on my server but now it averages for 350g :(

With the release of Warlords of Draenor, this bag is now worse than useless. With herbs now stacking to 200, unless you are carrying around a semi-truck's worth of herbs, most of your slots will be empty, meaning that a lot of potential storage space for other items will be wasted. Get rid of it and store your herbs in an all-purpose bag.

As a scribe that deals with "a semi-truck's worth of herbs", I still find this bag very useful!

The nice thing about this bag, and herb bags in general, is that herbs are automatically placed there first.

This bag does not appear when searching for it on the Items>Bags page.... noticed when i was making a list of all bind on equip bags. Please fix!

It wouldn't as it is a professional bag which are listed separately for each, as shown in the database path i.e. Database > Items > Containers > Herb Bags and reflects how they are designated in-game.

If you cannot equip this bag do the following: 1. Empty out one bag. ( just move the stuff into other bags ) 2. right click to equip.

For those of you who don't already know and want to craft/buy this from the Auction House with the addition of the Reagent Bag slot in Dragonflight... [b]don't.[/b] You can only put a [i]reagent[/i] bag in that bag slot. It cannot be a profession-specific bag. I thought I would be crafty and throw it in the slot before Dragonflight launched as a stopgap, but nooooo. Guess I should have looked it up beforehand or something, oh well.
