I'd say its about time that we got some shoes that match the tux set too.

I'd say, play a Tauren or Draenei, where nobody can see the model of the shoes.

Many people use the Tuxedo set for their banking alts. Many people like to keep their banker alt as low level as possible but still have nice items to wear... most banker alts are level 1-5 (because at 5 you used to be able to DE anything back in the day). That is why most bankers don't like the level 12 boots for the tuxedo.

I always used [url=http://www.wowhead.com/?item=6092]Black Whelp Boots[/url] as my tuxedo footwear :-) (I do realize that lvl 1 alts can't get them tho, so these new shoes will be nice for them)

Wearing brown shoes with a tux would be a fashion disaster!

If you're a Draenei, Troll or Tauren looking to get these shoes mayhaps to complete a tuxedo or Haliscan set, don't bother wasting the materials. These shoes will not show up on your character, unlike [url=http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40]Recruit's Boots[/url] which stretch to near your knee.

The screenshots may be a bit misleading with people wearing their Tuxedo Pants and Haliscan Pantaloons while wearing the shoes. These Dress Shoes are NOT boot-like and do not extend to the knee. They only cover the feet themselves.

What is a banking alt? Just wondering...

Its a toon you create with the only purpose to store your items in his bank, usually people like to give exotic items to them so they can stand out, other people just leave them plain naked, you can also use it to manage your auctions.

I just noticed that when I change my bank alts outfit to a Red Dinner Suit, or a blue one the shoes will take on a red or blue tint respectively, matching my outfit! I don't know if this works for every outfit, probably not but I found this worth noting. My bank alt is an undead female so I don't know if it's exclusive to them or if this happens to any race/gender. If you don't believe me give it a try!

Well, this indeed fits with the Tuxedo outfit. Now to find a hat and gloves for it.....

I recommend that you enchant these shoes with [spell=13890] as this will grant them a +8% movement speed bonus :)

If you've got a cloth wearing, fighting toon looking for a nice pair of shoes similar to this for transmog, [item=35956] or [item=36004] are possible options.

Edit to add: [item=9876] are an even closer match.

DO NOT right click to equip them, as it will just teach you the appearance.
