it also dropped for me off one of the mechanicals in howling fjord. i ended up selling it for 200g, not sure if that's a good price or not but considering it's stats it's not the best item. it'd be easier getting a ZA group and getting the staff from there, or waiting for a quest reward. still, if you have the gold it's a great levelling weapon.

after some thinking about the name Lola's Lifegiving Branch....i can only imagine its a titan....being the whole lore of them creating the world we know and giving us the "Well of Eternity" that wasn't so eternal....but can't find any research to say yay or naw to this anyone know?

ok i found this but why is blizz repeating the refrence? Charlotte's Ivy and Lola's Eve (The Twin Stars) The necklace Charlotte's Ivy could be seen as a reference to the book/movie Charlotte's Web. Together Charlotte's Ivy and Lola's Eve are seen as a (slightly odd) reference to the book 'Lolita' by Vladimir Nabokov. In the book, the main protagonist becomes obsessed with a young girl called Dolores (variously referred to in the novel as Dolores, Dolly, Lolita, Lola, Lo, L). The girls mother is called Charlotte. I was in Howling Fjord killing some Iron Dwarves and I was despairing over my terrible gear, particularly my green mainhand mace from Outland. As the thought crossed my mind, I looted the poor dwarf and BAM; "F*ck yeaaahhhh!"

Lol or not, as a priest I like this one. Picked up at the AH for 25g... :O Very nice surprise, though I'm only level 60 I'm going to keep it those 11 levels because I don't expect them to show up again for a similar price. If I get something better before I hit 71 I can always sell it for a higher bid.

I wouldn't spend more than 10g on this. There is an early quest chain that leads to either http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38240 or http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38239. Both staves are the same item level, and if you go to Northrend at 68, you can be using these alternate staves by 70. This staff only has the slightest edge in casting stats, so I would pop this on the AH instead.

I have a priest who primarily uses the headmasters charge heirloom, but he swaps it out with this for healing due to the spirit buff. I tried selling it a few times on AH with no buyers, and i thought i could get some use out of it before vendoring it.
