Reins of a Tamed Bloodfeaster

Too creepy to be a mount. I want it.

In beta, this mount currently dropped at random off of a [npc=124547] in Nazmir. The mount journal lists its source as "Nazmir", so expect it to be a random zone-wide drop.

While playing the beta, I thought I would try farm this mount because I was curious. I went to the blood troll area (turtle loa area) and spent in total 5mins.. It dropped from one of the troll mobs. As the saying goes if you get it in beta you won't get it in live....

At a guess I would say this mount drops from blood troll related NPC's unsure about the ticks themselves. Not to mention it flys..and honestly is a thing of my nightmares..picture a flying face hugger without the tail..

[item=163575] teaches you how to ride the [spell=243795]. Its drop location is simply listed as 'Nazmir'. I obtained this mount by farming the 'Loa-Gutter' blood trolls around the north and west sides of 'Torga's Rest'. I was farming for around 55 minutes before it dropped. Since it is still beta at the moment, there is no concrete information, but the mount could either be a zone-wide drop, or could drop specifically from blood trolls in the Nazmir zone.

Edit: Obtained this on Live today randomly whilst doing a World Quest in Natha'vor (the blood troll area in the centre-north of the zone)

Can you grab coordinates of where they were? Still making my way through Nazmir and just wanna know when I'm close to them.

where i s the burial mound? Tried farming Torga's Rest but no luck, want to try new location

Killed my 2nd Natha'vor Cannibal at [49.46, 34.40] and it dropped.

Important to note these zone mounts are tradeable!

Even in a no flying zone, when u press space it flies a bit and stays in the air xD

Just dropped for me when killing [npc=133181] in Koranar 47,56 but I think it's maybe just a random drop from Nazmir mobs. I was in a party and it dropped just for me, also it's not BoP, you can trade it. (Launch day)

Pretty sure this is a Zone wide drop. I've gotten the reins off of a mob at random in the Burial Mound of Nazmir. Don't know if was a Returned Predator or Empowered Worshipper.

I got 2 back to back so it's either I got SUPER lucky or the drop rate isn't that high

Dropped for me off random mobs just to the north of Vorrik's Sanctum in Vol'dun, totally unexpected, pretty sure the drop rate isn't low since there are a ton of these going around already just 1 day into the xpac

Anyone know if this requires 120 to drop?

Seems they increased the droprates of this mount by a lot, been farming the mount for 2 hours as of the moment i made this comment. or i'm just incredibly unlucky (probibly both)

I'm guessing that 1 drops every so often. With more people around, there's less chance of being that 1 it drops for.

9 hours of farming and i got this: 90+ green items 1120 [item=152576] 63 [item=152577] 9k gold 1 [item=163946] 0 [item=163575]

I feel I'll be in the same boat as you when it comes to luck. Going to start farming for it today after discovering it's a world drop in Nazmir. Hope you get yours though, you deserve it after all that time.

I had no idea this mount even existed. It dropped after 3-4 mob kills while doing my WQ. From my experience, the less u know about possible mount drops the more chance u have to get one. Every time I farmed a mount, it never dropped. All my drops from world and dungeons were by accident, while doing smthing else.

I am going on 13 HOURS farming this mount now solo. I have gotten over 2000 Tidespray linen but still no mount

3000 tidespray linen, 120 deep sea satin, tons green, 6000+ lovely charm, no boe, no mount... 12000 charm +1 boe+mount :[

Did they patch the drop rate of this or something? Been farming for hours everyday since Friday and still nothing. Not even a BoE tbf. Gotta keep at it I guess!

I farmed 12 houres today and got nothing too. There must be a change to the drop rate.

Drop rate's probably the same. Just more people around and the drop is spread across all of them.

I got one whilst doing a world quest in Nazmir, in Terrace of Sorrows. Super Lucky because about an hour before I got: [item=163934]

It does. My husband just found it as soon as we started the zone, in Zul'jan Ruins.

Got it yesterday on [i]Terrace of Sorrows[/i] while doing the quests... Didn't even heard of this mount before, lol

Farmed for about 5 hours at Torga's Rest and nothing. Did get 300 cloth and 20 green cloth. Plus about 30 BOE greens and looted around 2.5k gold. Just want this mount though lol...

I haven't read this anywhere yet, but.. it's a FLYING mount! I can confirm this.

What is the name of the addon that you use? The one that pops up and tells you when you have looted something?

Rarity, I added the mount with the custom tab using its ID and then added the NPC ID's for Drudges and Hexxers.

Looks like those mounts drop from a certain species, instead of being zone-wide, so instead of being a "surprise" loot when doing quests / WQ from random mob, it's now a grind on "X" mob, another bad move from Blizzard
