Depleted Mail Gauntlets

Got this from one of the boars around ogri'la, while famring shards for the dragons. I assume it's a global drop from all the mobs on the plateau's. Will update tommorow when I've farmed the 50 shards. Also, as a side note, I presume there's this kinds of drop for every class, or at least for most, and that they have a fairly high droprate.

This turned out to be quite the dissapointment, although it has potential for loads of ap. Combining this item with 50 apexis shards gives you http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32656. But, well, I suppose I just had too high hopes, can still be viable for people who don't have better, and need ap/int.

For a level 70, AH-purchasable (not counting the shards, which are easy to come by) pair of gloves, I can't think of anything better for a hunter... is there? This is an ideal pair of gloves to buy when you first hit 70, though soon after you'll almost certainly get better.

Got this from a Apexis Flayer near Skyguard Outpost, was really surprised because i am currently farming the trinket for our Feral-Druid. Had already 50 of the shards to convert it. Realy nice item, but too less Agi and Sta on it. May some cute gems can turn this into some nice must-have item ;)

Some crazy joke from Blizz i guess... By the time these drops you would after all reasonable probability already have much more than 50 Apexis Shards. No problem creating the "real items". And for the record; the depleted does NOT seem to be equipable, so you must get the shards (or get a friend) to create the "real" items...

If anyone else has found these can you please post here from where you got them and the mob that they have dropped off of? That will surely help until the website has the data up for drops and whatnot.

We found these on Rivendark today. Combined with earlier comment about Apexis Flayer, I'd say they're a rare, rare drop from any mob in Blade's Edge heights. Maybe with a slightly higher chance on the boss mobs there.

In the depleted form they are unbindable. In their true form, They are Bind on Equip.

Dropped for me in Bashi'r Landing off one of the Arcanists.

Got this one dropped after killing those 3 roaming demons, one big and 2 smaller ones.

I suspect these equipments are some catch-22 joke. By the time you collected the shards and can modify the gear, you are already over lv. 70 and should move on to bigger, better things. You should check your level cap / reward prior. Are you targeting for a lv 70 twink or something? Consider this intel is not updated up to patch 4.3.2 (or whatever wowhead says we are into.)

Hahahaha, that comment is hilarious. So first off, the original comment was made back in BC. But secondly, this comment is super helpful these days too, because of transmog. So though this comment is no longer relevant when gearing, it's still pretty useful. <3

These dropped for me tonight off a wrath hound in Ogri'la. They do combine to make the Crystalhide Handwraps, which are gonna be great for some shammy, not a rogue like myself...lol!

The stats are different when completed... Why's that? Check the complete version of this and compare.

Because this isn't an equippable item, so it was unaffected by the item squish. In BC, Crystalhide Handwraps had +11 Agility, +27 Intellect, and +56 Attack Power (No stam or vers).
