This has got to be one of the more useless items in the game. For 20g you could pay someone to run you through RFK a few times to pickup the [url=http://www.wowhead.com/?item=6687]Corpsemaker[/url] and matching [url=http://www.wowhead.com/?item=6686]Tusken Helmet[/url]. The Corpsemaker is significantly better for any class capable of wielding it compared to this...which is...crud.

Best 2h Sword 'til lvl 36 Bought it for my retadin simply because i hate using axes and am Plvling her trough dungeons anyway. If you don't mind axes, Corpsemaker is the better option, but this is still better than greens.

I got this one twice by the kurzen medicine man on stv and once from a lockbox and i gota say it is no good for most classes but it is still a solid stamina bonus and the extra spirit is almost useless because regeneration only happens out of combat and most if not all players usually eat heal or bandage themselves after a tough combat they don't wait to regen so i gues its a auction house item some beginner who just dinged 28 and made some coin might buy it only because its blue

Edit I know only trolls regen in combat but still how much regeneration will it be like 2-4 hp / 5 depending on total spirit to get benefit from that you should stack spirit on a troll wich for physical 2h sword wielders ie warriors is a bad investment well either way its leveling and its easy so i guess the dps being high as it is its not a so bad choice

The stats comparison is: Combatant Claymore: 64 - 97 Damage (80.5 avg) Speed 2.90 (27.8 damage per second) +10 Stamina +15 Spirit Bloodied Arcanite Reaper (at lvl 28): 82 - 123 Damage (102.5 avg) Speed 3.80 (27.0 damage per second) +9 Strength +14 Stamina Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 9 (1.67% @ L24). So Arcanite Reaper is: +22 avg dmg -0.8 DPS +9 Strength +4 Stamina -15 Spirit +9 Crit rating

It works fine as a holy paladin healing weapon, that's about it.

Now it got versatility which is nice But what is nice is that is, rare mog sword that work with great most blue plate sets .

Near BiS for Fury twinks in the 20-29 bracket, as Vers is their best stat and dual-wielding these provides a hefty amount, ~5.86% Versatility at level 29.

With a Striking Illusion on it, this weapon looks like a 2H version of [url=https://www.wowhead.com/item=17103/azuresong-mageblade]Azuresong Mageblade[/url].

I'm using Combatant Claymore with my Ret Paladin transmog, and Azuresong Mageblade for Protection, and it feels super cohesive. :D

Your best way to farm blues or this item is to hunt down chests in Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor as they give a blue reliably. Also, this has a chance to drop in Razorfen Kraul
