Design: Veiled Nightseye

This is one of the new recipies added in 2.1. Just dropped from Botanica; unfortunately I cannot recall the exact mob it was obtained from. The gem itself would be ideal for an affliction warlock or a shadowpriest.

Just had one drop from one of the Naga on the Cipher of Damnation questline in Coilscar point. Apparently it's a world drop, and it's BoE, cause neither I nor the guy I was doing the quest with is a JC.

Just had one drop in Nagrand off a Ravenous Windroc.

Its nice for any magic dps class, even for mages, since spell hit rating its the most valuable stat in overall dpsing

Yep... This gem is my personal favourite as a Mage. Ideally you want 16% chance to hit when fighting bosses. 16% will be overkill like, but i'd bet most Mages reading this now will probably have around 8-10%. Spell Hit chance is considered as an overall damage done increase of 1% pound for pound so dont ignore it.. unless ofc you consider having very low spell hit as passive threat reduction :P Always have a couple of items available to swap in for boss encounters.. It's less important for trash like since their level is lower you need less spell hit chance to avoid those annoying resists.

Got this recipe off of a Clefthoof Bull in Nagrand just now. I will be uploading my Wowhead data here in the next few hours, so hopefully it will add that to the list. My guess is any mob 65+ has a chance to drop this.

Had one just drop for me on genjuros horde, it will be in the ah for 800g in a few minutes... = ) Edit: dropped by a Demon Hunter Initiate..
