I was thinking on using this in my shaman and keeping it after enchanting it (my other chars are enchanters). My shammans lvl 13 and I hit tremendously ridiculous with this and stonebiter. However, what do you say? Should I enchant it?

For the level you can use it (8), this is an extremely high DPS rating, not to mention the +3 stamina. Any class that can use axes (hunters, warriors, paladins, shaman) at this level should grab this for an easy way through the next few levels.

Lovely weapon to get your hands on at level 8. The only concern I would have as a new player would be finding light leather (If your two professions are blacksmithing and mining).

You can either buy it from the Auction House (a bit expensive from what I've seen), go Fishing for Tightly Sealed Trunks, or ask someone nearby if they have any (I find this is probably the more reliable option).
