Scrolls of the Faldrottin

Does this still serve any purpose after you finish the related quests to unlocking the new artifact traits?

I've deleted it, I think that was intended for you to still hold it as it is a "book", and maybe you collect them. Or maybe they want you to read it before discarding it as it describes the prophecy of the entire questchain. Maybe both. But yes, like Tears of Elune or Ilidari Soul Prism I think it's safe to delete.

100% safe to delete. Opened a ticket asking a GM, and they said it's just leftover for your reading pleasure and/or reference. Not needed for anything in future quests.

Does this go from a GREEN item, to GREY, after the quest is done ? I pick up quests all the time and rarely pay attention. I've just had this item in my bag & have no idea if I have done the quest.

It stays green after finishing the quest.

Would love a new feature going forward in WoW: After a quest item is no longer needed, if it stays in your inventory the tooltip is modified to add the line "can be sold to a vendor or destroyed"

You can destroy. As long as you have completed the quest "Fate of the Tideskorn". Just another item that doesn't auto delete itself.

These are on the AH for 317g on Eldre'Thalas at the moment, but I have no idea if they're actually selling or not. Probably not, or at least not often.
