Spell Lock

Tooltip

Silences the enemy for 3 sec. If used on a casting target, it will counter the enemy's spellcast, preventing any spell from that school of magic from being cast for 6 sec.

How it works

Each cast of Spell Lock costs 20 Energy. It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts.

Spell Lock is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Interrupt Cast (effect type 68). It applies the interrupted mechanic.
  2. Effect 2 is Trigger Spell (effect type 64). It triggers Spell Lock.

What it does

Spell Lock is a Shadow spell with an instant cast, a range of 40 yards, a 24 sec cooldown and effects that last 6 sec. When cast it interrupts spellcasting with the interrupted mechanic. It also casts Spell Lock (record #24259).

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the MoP Classic client, build 5.5.4.70631. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
