After you turn in the max 5k rep quest items (e.g. Evil Bat Eye, Glowing Scorpid Blood, Dense Grinding Stone, Thorium Widget, and/or Rugged Armor Kit) these "Prizes" do not give rep contrary to many Darkmoon Faire Guides.
Hoping the new Darkmoon Faire in 4.3 will be easier on rep grinds :)

Readers would be well advised to keep in mind that the above comment was posted in patch 2.0.1. It's almost 4.3 as I write this, and inflation on in-game items would set the lesser prize's average value well beyond that level.
