TheWoWDBFor now, Azsuna invasion WQs don't seem to count for this (unlike emissaries, which you can complete with invasions) - I had my Bloodgazer Hatchling out the whole time but am still at 0/5 WQs done.

This completed for me after doing a single world quest. I did have my Bloodrazer Hatchling out for the past 2 days while I did world quests, so perhaps those somehow counted? Otherwise, it's just simply bugged and giving credit for all 5 quests in one go.
I did one of the pet battle world quests without using the hatchling in my team and still received credit toward the quest. Just make sure you have the hatchling summoned beside you before you initiate the battle, since changing the first pet on your team usually summons that pet.
