If the quest shows as completed, then you will be awarded the battlepet [item=193484] once you turn the quest in. As a demonology warlock, after reading these other comments i changed my talent tree to no longer spawn imps so at point of kill, i saw the adventurous little duck be spewed out of the Queasy Hornswog once his hp hit 1%. It took me a few attempts to see the duck being ejected.
Unsure, but I think the issue causing him to cancel the vomiting part (completing the quest requirement) is, if a pet (or you) continues to dps once he starts to regurgitate Pilot, this causes him to stop and hop away.
