Wow, and I thought the +130 agility enchant was a bastard move, to make all other dps classes inferior to hunters, as the only thing that came close to it for casters, was Power Torrent.
Now hunters can actulally have enormous flat agility enchant AND their version of Power Torrent. That's just sad.

This is not a fair assessment. If all classes had exactly the same abilities and applied all of their attacks exactly the same way, it would be. However, since each class works completely different from the next, their receptiveness to enchants varies. I'm sure that enchants and gems are taken into consideration when classes are worked on.

Here is a link to a website that attempts to calculate the potential DPS of each spec:
simulationcraft.org/420/Raid_T12H.html (sorry for the lack of http, wowhead doesn't seem to want to let me post this link with http)

As you can see there, two casters (I point this out given your specific citing of Power Torrent) are ahead of the best Hunter spec. The best Hunter spec requires a copious gear rating to compensate for the required haste to make that spec functional and practical. The vastly more common and somewhat more flexible (and thusly still used at high levels of play) best Hunter spec is a variation of the top one, which ranks middle-of-the-road. The remaining two Hunter specs are very near the bottom and in dire need of attention.

Many people would argue that those calculations exist merely for ideal fights, and are not realistic representations of what goes on in the game. This is a valid point, and so here is another website that collects real data from actual raids:
http://worldoflogs.com/rankings/players/Firelands/dps/ - Hunter has barely any representation in the top of these charts.

While one detail might seem unfair between DPS, it is hardly the sum of the parts. Please take that into consideration in the future.

Also, to contribute to this actual page: This attachment is very likely superior to the Gnomish X-Ray Scope, as 300 agility is equivalent to 600 attack power and .92% crit for Hunters. After Mail Specialization and Kings/Mark of the Wild, the buff becomes 330.75 agility or 661.5 attack power and 1.01% crit. Add the woodchuck on top, which seems to trigger anywhere from 500-1,000 damage, and Flintelocke's likely comes out just a little bit ahead of Gnomish X-Ray.
