World Mender's Pants

Added in patch 4.3, second best choice to normal mode token legs (Legwraps of Dying Light) for priest healers. However, for those who have 4/5 pieces of the tier set already, the high amount of mastery makes it a very attractive choice for both disc and holy priests; even shadow priests would like it, if they are relying on Twisted Faith for hit.

Heads up: Essence of Destruction is still quite expensive for those who are not constant raiders.

Essence of Destruction on my server vary between 800-2000k. Patience is the key to crafting this item. I'm making them for my priest, which i'm currently leveling.

I cannot stress this more, (at least on my server), Essence of Destruction do not sell well and I rarely see more than 1-4 on at any one time. There usually is someone who needs money and is selling his/hers for 700-800g. Slowly amass them until you have enough. Honestly, I'd recommend to continue to buy them when they are low.

If you really don't want to wait, but don't want to pay outrageous prices, here is a tactic that sometimes works.

Early in the day check the AH and buy up any essences they have. Shout out in trade "looking to buy (L2B) Essence of Destruction, paying well". You'll usually get a few responses, offer to pay the usual lower price you see Essence of Destruction. People will have checked the AH, assume you are desperate, lol at you, for being a noob and say they go for twice the price on the AH. Play dumb, offer 100g more and leave it at that.

Do another shout out in trade, offering 1500g per essence. Once again, people will respond demanding more! If they don't, just say you are doing a deal with someone.

About an hour later sign on as another alt, shout out in trade for essences in a similar
manner. Now wait until the evening and check the AH. Hopefully. If everything went according to plan, you created a sense of demand for an expensive, but poor selling item. Everyone, hoping to unload there excess Essence of Destruction will have posted them, which will in turn create an undercutting war.

I did this today and picked up 30 essences for 700g a pop. Makes it a little less expensive to craft this and the other patterns, but only use this strat, if you have the gold to buy up a ton of them, as don't expect this to work more than once every few months.

Hope this helps out some of those people out there who don't have the time or desire to raid. Non-raiders can get some really nice gear, but it usually is a gold sink or doing the same dailies for months on end. Don't feel bad for those folks who did not get 2k for their essences, they unloaded a ton of em, made a good bit of gold, and if they were willing to undercut to those prices, they were happy to sell them for that price. It's a win win situation.
