WoW Forever: What Blizzard Confirmed at BlizzCon 2026

The game fans called Classic Plus now has an official name: World of Warcraft: Forever, revealed by Blizzard at BlizzCon 2026 on September 12. It is a third permanent WoW home set in a reimagined original Azeroth, where players return to the original continents and adventure to level 60. It launches November 4, 2026.

The beta runs September 17 to October 21, 2026. There are two ways in: a free opt-in on Blizzard's Forever page, which is a chance rather than a guarantee, or guaranteed access with the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection. The Skyborne Heroic Pack does not include beta access.

Camelot was the product name dataminer Stiven found on June 16, 2026 in Heroic and Epic edition license entries, and classic_alpha 1.60 builds (unreadable to us at the time) appeared on Blizzard's CDN from October 2025. Forever's upgrades now come in Heroic and Epic tiers, and WoW Forever beta client builds have since appeared in our datamine (the newest we read is build 1.60.1.70338), which is why this page reads them as the same project.
