Summon Chauffeur

Since the patch 6.1, there has been a few problems with mounts and factions. Many neutral mounts have only one name icon and look, but have two separate entities as far as mount ID numbers. Each of the mounts become one faction or the other.

Wowhead is having a problem as well. The [spell=179214] is listed as a spell number 179214. When used [spell=179214] actually casts Summon Chauffeur which is spell number 179244, and is Horde specific. You cannot use the icon for [spell=179214] in a macro and instead must use the "Summon Chauffeur" icon. Summon Chauffeur (spell number 179244) icon is selected automatically by the game if you are Horde, however if you are Alliance and use the term "Summon Chauffeur", Summon Chauffeur (spell number 179245) will be selected. Both Summon Chauffeur and Summon Chauffeur (Wowhead has the wrong info for spell 179245 - does not Apply Aura: "Mechano-Hog") will summon your [item=120968], only:

Summon Chauffeur HORDE (spell number 179244) summons "Chauffeured Mechano-Hog"
and
Summon Chauffeur Alliance (spell number 179245) summons "Chauffeured Mekgineer's Chopper"

Wowhead seems to have "Chauffeured Mechano-Hog" listed as a spell number 179214 (wrong since it casts spell#179244), but they have no listing at all for the Alliance version "Chauffeured Mekgineer's Chopper".

Bottom line is that if you are Pandaren and neutral, you will probably not have a mount to use until Blizzard decides what they are doing. Wowhead and Blizzard both need to take a close look here.

I write a mount addon. Here is some of the infomation I recovered for the two separate mounts. I have this information because my addon has to deal with "Faction Broken" mounts that are neutral but listed twice (identical) with different faction specifics.

I will be directing Blizzard and Wowhead to look at this problem, so I put too much info here for a normal Wowhead post. And I will copy it to all affected spells and items ;-)

Is faster than a shaman using Ghost Wolf. Seems to be unaffected by [spell=78633].

Specific to the Chauffeured Mekgineer's Chopper and likely the original Mekgineer's Chopper as well.
To disable the sounds you need to create a folder in your World of Warcraft folder named, "Sound".
Then inside the "Sound" folder, create another folder called "Vehicles".
Then inside the "Vehicles" folder, create another folder called "MotorcycleVehicle".
Those are all the folders you need.

Inside the "MotorcycleVehicle" folder, create a new, blank Text Document file called "MotorcycleVehicleStand.txt".
Then rename the file to "MotorcycleVehicleStand.ogg".
Back out of the "MotorcycleVehicle" folder and while in the "Vehicles" folder,
create a new, blank Text Document file called "VEH_AllianceChopper_Run_Constant.txt".
Then rename it to "VEH_AllianceChopper_Run_Constant.ogg".
Those are all the files you'll need.

To confirm, when done you should have the two following file paths:
World of Warcraft\Sound\Vehicles\VEH_AllianceChopper_Run_Constant.ogg
World of Warcraft\Sound\Vehicles\MotorcycleVehicle\MotorcycleVehicleStand.ogg

This will silence the looped running sound while riding around, and the looped idle sound while standing still.
