TheWoWDBThe pattern for this stopped being trainable/learnable when Blizz removed specialized leatherworking. At this point (5.1.0) it is not obtainable in-game, unless one had already learned it long ago.

Comment by mathewcyoung misled me to believe it was obtainable if I just found someone to craft it for me. After much grinding for mats and time to find someone on my server to craft it. The kind druid that made it for me.. <choke>... found he could not trade it over. It was soulbound to him.
It's a BOP item! GAWD! I hate it when Blizzard does this. Why BOP?
So if you did not play during BC and have this pattern for your OWN use.. then you are out of luck. :( I'm one sad panda.
