TheWoWDBOne of the new meta gems added in Patch 2.4. The recipe requires Revered with Shattered Sun Offensive and 370 Jewelcrafting, and costs 32g from the vendor Eldara Dawnrunner <Shattered Sun Quartermaster>. Of course, anybody can equip the gem.
Eternal Earthstorm Diamond:
- +12 Defense Rating
- +10% Shield Block Value
- Requires at least 2 Blue gems
- Requires at least 1 Yellow gem
It is a great tanking Meta gem, 12 defense could save you socketting a normal socket with a yellow gem so you could take a more beneficial stat; and the +10% Shield Block Value increase is quite a significant amount to consider for Warriors + Prot Paladins.
