Patch 3.1.0 PTR - "Flask of Stoneblood now increases the player's maximum health by 1300. (Up from 750)"
Source: http://www.mmo-champion.com/index.php?topic=47609.0In an earlier PTR, it was boosted to 750, which is still mediocre for the difference in mats from the Flask of Fortification. In build 9757, this was boosted to 1300. It's now worth it's mats to get this.
There is a change to all flasks as well, in that they'll only last an hour now, but each recipe will now produce 2 flasks.
If you've already stocked up on flasks, don't worry! You'll be able to trade in the 2hr flasks for 2 of the 1hr flasks in 3.1!

You have a point but you're forgetting the true benefit and purpose of Flasks: they persist through death. If you're learning content they can save you money while still providing you with a decent and applicable buff.

Well from what wotlkwiki.info is showing the flask gives 650 hp and that is it. If that is the case it will be a very poor upgrade in comparison to the upgrades other flasks are shown to be getting from the wotlkwiki.info alchemy page. Caster, melee dps, and healer flasks all got around a 50% buff in stats, the flask of fortification gave 500 hp and 10 def rating. Imo 150 hp and -10 def rating isn't a very good upgrade. But it's still Beta and we will see when it goes live later.
