Added in beta build 8962, and it produces a random card of Ace through Five of Mages.
Finished the Mages Deck. It's a blue/rare item that gives you a quest to turn it into a Darkmoon Fortune Teller. Once you accept the quest, you can use the deck to summon the fortune teller to you. Pretty cool I think. The quest reward is your choice of two blue/rare necklaces that have no level limit.
Darkmoon Necklace:+3 Intellect, +9 Spell Power, +5 Crit
Darkmoon Pendant: +6 Agility, +5 Stamina, +12 Attack PowerI received 5100 exp (level 72) for turning it in and 28 Darkmoon Faire rep (human).
Edit: Just noticed that the necklace is Bind on Equip. That combined with the lack of a level limit would make these great for pvp twinks.

As of 3.0.2 (if not earlier) the rewards became BoP (see http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44213 for instance) and require level 30 to equip. Also the deck itself is a quest item (which also makes it BoP) and the quest needs some inscription skill to complete.
