So far, the best raiding use for this elixir I've experienced is heroic magmaw; reducing damage from spew/shadowbolts.
EDIT: Personally used this on my resto druid heroic Nef; was having problems getting 1 shot by electrocutes when barkskin was down/didn't have resistance aura for whatever reason.
