I've always wondered this. Why do most races bury their deceased instead of cremating them. Specially humans, after the Plague you would think they would cremate all their dead to give them a peaceful rest instead of risking them becoming undead... the only human that I think got cremated according to lore was Terenas. Maybe Uther as well. Seems silly for all the races to keep burying their dead since the scourge could not only infect the living with the plague but also raise the corpses of those who had already died before.

Tooltip

Some dwarves sealed their deceased in tombs. Those with a concern about the undead might have been more apt to cremate remains. This urn is chipped and cracked, its ashes long since lost. The word 'Thunderbolt' is visible in Dwarven printed on the underside.
