Another great place to fish the sharptooth is in Uldum at Remkahen. Fishing at the middle of their waterfront was almost a 50% catch rate.

This recipe has some tradeoffs. While it does not provide any well-fed buffs, it makes for easy cooking skill-ups if you are fishing often. Sharptooth is the freshwater "junkfish" of Cataclysm, yielding about 50% of all open freshwater catches in high level Cataclysm zones (Fishing in open ocean in high level Cataclysm zones will instead yield Murglesnout "junkfish" at the same rate). If you are leveling fishing and cooking at the same time, hold onto a good ~10 stacks to push your cooking from 475 to 510 painlessly should you buy the recipe. You will need a lot as each dish you cook consumes THREE Sharptooth.
