Former comments are true, back in 1.X you would learn Artisan crafting from Brikk Keencraft of Booty Bay. In 2.X two new trainers were added in Shattrath (one for the Aldor, the other for the Scryers). As of 3.X all Azerothian trainers are capable of teaching the same recipes, Outlands trainers are only available for Master training, and Northrend trainers are only available for Grandmaster training.
Actually, it is correct. If you are aligned with Scryers you can make use of the Scryer's Library in Shattrath City. There is bookshelf that is a "trainer" for each tradeskill. Woul have been quite useful pre-TBC, but it's still nice even now.
