Just learned this with my mage, and here are some important advice.

You need to go to YOUR RACE city to be able to learn other portals/teleports.
check the lvl requirement.

I was thinking "i need to go to orgrimmar to learn how to teleport to orgrimmar", and that was wrong! (maybe with exalted rep you could do it), as an undead i went to undercity and learned every portal/teleport i could (exept for Ancient Dalaran).

Teleport:
Orgrimmar, Undercity, Silvermoon, Thunder Bluff, Stormwind, Theramore, Ironforge, Exodar and Darnassus Requires lvl 17

Stonard Requires lvl 52

Shattrath Requires lvl 62

Dalaran Requires lvl 71

Tol barad Requires lvl 85

Ancient Dalaran Requires lvl 90

Shrine of ... Requires lvl 90
