What This Set Covers

This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 8 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. Every piece is Bind on Pickup, so the appearances have to be earned rather than bought.

Pieces: 11
Slots covered: Head, Shoulder, Chest x2, Wrist, Hands x2, Waist, Legs x2, Feet
Binding: Bind on Pickup (11)
Expansion: Warlords of Draenor
Set type: Gladiator

Slot and binding read from the current retail build’s item records for this set’s own pieces.

The Ensemble

Ensemble: Wild Gladiator's Silk Armor is a single item whose use effect learns all of Wild Gladiator's Silk Armor at once. It is Bind on Pickup. Using it requires level 40.

Set Bonus

5 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Gladiator's Regalia, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

2 pieces (Arcane): Successfully Spellstealing a buff generates a use of Arcane Missiles.
2 pieces (Fire): Casting Scorch reduces the cast time and increases the critical strike chance of Fireball by 15%, stacking up to 3 times.
2 pieces (Frost): When you cast Cone of Cold, a patch of ice is left on the ground below the target area for 6 sec, slowing any enemies in the area by 50%.
4 pieces (Arcane): While Arcane Power is active, you can cast Arcane Blast and Arcane Missiles while moving.
4 pieces (Fire): When you consume Hot Streak, your Pyroblast target has a 15% increased chance to be critically hit by your Fireball spell for 10 sec.
4 pieces (Frost): Frostbolt deals 50% increased damage to snared targets.

Look-Alike Sets

3 other sets reuse the 3D models of Wild Gladiator's Silk Armor’s head, shoulder and waist, most shared models first:

Warmongering Gladiator's Silk Armor (Warlords of Draenor, 11 pieces): the same head, shoulder and waist models, in the same colours.
Raiment of the Arcanic Conclave (Warlords of Draenor, 13 pieces): the same head, shoulder and waist models, recoloured.
Serban Quick Set (Mists of Pandaria, 3 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.
