Holy
PaladinTooltip
Protects the paladin from all damage and spells for 12 sec, but reduces all damage you deal by 50%. Once protected, the target cannot be targeted by Divine Shield, Divine Protection, or Hand of Protection again for 2 min. Cannot be used within 30 sec. of using Avenging Wrath or while Light's Verdict is active.
How it works
Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown. Its dispel type is client id 1.
Divine Shield is built from 3 client effects, applied in this order:
- Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 79. Its base value is -50.
- Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 39.
- Effect 3 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 39.
What it does
Divine Shield is a Holy spell with an instant cast, no range (it targets the caster), a 5 min cooldown and effects that last 12 sec. When cast it applies an aura. The client files the whole spell under the invulnerable mechanic.
Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the Wrath of the Lich King client, build 3.80.2.69874. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
