Protects the paladin from all damage and spells for 10 sec, but reduces all damage you deal by 50%. Once protected, the target cannot be made invulnerable by Divine Shield, Divine Protection or Blessing of Protection again for 1 min.
How it works
Each cast of Divine Shield costs 75 Mana. Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.
Divine Shield is built from 4 client effects, applied in this order:
- Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 39.
- Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 138. Its base value is -100.
- Effect 3 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 39.

Divine Shield is a Holy spell with an instant cast, no range (it targets the caster), a 5 min cooldown and effects that last 10 sec. When cast it applies an aura. The client files the whole spell under the invulnerable mechanic.
