Academy Ascent Reverse: Gold

Finally got this today. I spent many, many attempts trying to use abilities to speed myself through parts of it. Turns out with this course thats not as necessary due to the amount of wind boosts and careful navigation is far more important. I used a single Skyward Ascent at the beginning of the run and allowed the wind to push me through the next few gates. At the bend at approximately /way 60.75, 25.5, fly a little low, it will look like you are missing the gate, but you will hit the gate and get the wind boost underneath. There is an orb in the tower at /way 61.53, 31.3, remember you fly through there twice, if you miss it on the first, you can grab on the second. It is important that you get the three orbs on the bridge at /way 59.06, 34.27, Lastly, keep an eye not to crash into the dragon statue at /way 57, 42.5, before the last archway. Go ino this point with at least two or three points left for the flight up to the finish and you're golden. Tested several times.

You can use these waypoints for support. If you put them in paste, use this order:

/way 57, 42.5 dragon
/way 60.75, 25.5 fly low

I started off with Whirling Surge, b/c you don't have to boost for a bit afterwards. I also ignored the orbs on the bridge. This course is more about not catching any obstacles.
