Dragon Racing Completionist: Silver

General info and hints:

   To complete Bronze level you don't need to know any of that, most of the time silver level is also kinda easy if you already have all the dragon upgrades, but here is main hints for gold level:
   
2. HINT 1 - COLLECT ALL 48 Dragon Glyphs before you start chasing for gold races
   
   Waking Shores Glyph Hunter

   Ohn'ahran Plains Glyph Hunter

   Azure Span Glyph Hunter

   Thaldraszus Glyph Hunter
   
   This will unlock all of the dragon abilities and upgrades

4. HINT 2 - Most of the times you will spam [spell=372608] and on advanced difficulty it is extremally important to time this ability correctly
   Dragonriding has 5 main modes of operation
   
   1. 
      
   2. [No Glow - No Speed] You don't have speed and charges and try to fly up - the dragon will just fall down
   3. 
      
   4. [No Glow - Slow Speed] You don't have have speed and charges, but flying down - dragon will slowly gain speed and if you are high enough not to land, you can get next speed boost
   5. 
      
   6. [White Glow - Normal Speed] If you fly at least a little bit downwards you will get a small speed boost and gain white glow and after some time even blue glow. This is the main mode you always want to keep. If you loose this speed for long enough and want gold, reset the race, at least now the timers are kinda hard
   7. 
      
   8. [Blue Glow - Fast Speed] Most of the time you gain blue glow if you fly downwards for long enough to get the speed buff and get the [spell=383366] ability active
   9. 
      
   10. [Blue Glow - Camera is getting you dragon further away - Fastest speed] Basically you can get this kind of speed only if you get speed level 4 and then use [spell=372608] several times, it costs a lot of Vigor to maintain this kind of speed
   11. 
       
   
   
   To get Gold, and Advanced Gold you need to be on speed level 4 and 5 most of the time, So you will have to
   
   • 
     
   • Direct your dragon downwards when possible, this will give you more vigor in the end
   • 
     
   • Use [spell=372608] if you have charges, sometime you will have to preserve charges to achieve speed level 5, but you will never want to loose speed level 4 because of that
   •

6. HINT 3 - For advanced races you will have to collect all the speed buffs along the way

8. HINT 4 - Yes, you will have to fly and complete every normal race first and then after you get the rep and complete 4 prequest you will be able to fly again and complete every advanced race, at least right now it works this way

Guide to complete every race at Gold time

In the last few weeks of beta i have been doing all the dragonraces at both normal and advanced, here are a few tips & tricks to get to gold times:

• 
  
• Upgrading your dragonriding talent tree by collecting Dragon Glyph Embers is not necessary for the normal races, however it does make the races easier.
  
• For the normal races i only collected a few Dragon Glyph Embers and only unlocked one extra Vigor on the top row of the talent tree. For the Advanced races i unlocked all, except extra abilities.
  
• Try to fly close to the edges of the golden circles instead of flying through the middle, this saves a little bit of time.
  
• Try to use Surge Forward to gain Thrill of the Skies before using Skyward Ascent or any other dragonflying ability, Thrill of the skies makes your abilities a lot more impactful.
  
• Try to pick up as many green swirlies as you can, these give you one charge of Vigor.
•
