<DND> Account Has Oracle Hatchling

<DND> is Do Not Display. Someone at Blizzard figured out that they could use the achievement system to hold flags for in-game behaviors.

When the Dalaran orphan quests were first introduced, you were given the respective orphan pet of your chosen quest chain, Wolvar or Oracle, as your reward. IIRC, there were no other options. You could have up to three of each on your pet list, the rest had to be discarded. Reading between the lines a bit, folks asked for a reward other than yet another Wolvar/Oracle, and got this system, where the final quest you are offered varies based on whether you already have a Wolvar/Oracle, and if you do, offers you [item=116202] or [item=23022] instead.

This flag does not modify the reward directly, rather it modifies which version of the final quest, Back to the Orphanage, is offered; there are four, two with the [item=46544]/[item=46545] orphan pet rewards, and two with identical offerings of [item=116202] or [item=23022], each from their respective Wolvar or Oracle quest chain.

This is a much better situation for you, the player; you now get something useful after you complete the quest chain multiple times. Take the [item=116202], it (almost?) always contains a [item=92741], which is unbound and can be sold at the auction house. It's worth much more than five gold.

It is apparently no longer possible to get more than one of each of the Wolvar and Oracle pets, even though the slots for three of each are still allowable. I have two of each, and was not offered an option to get a third. No big deal, there is only one breed of each (the Wolvar is a P/P, the Oracle is a B/B), and if you are a long time pet collector, you are likely near your 1000 pet limit anyway.

I'm pretty sure it's still incumbent upon you to recognize that you need the other of the Wolvar/Oracle pets and choose that quest chain. I can't confirm this, as I have both, thus won't see if the system directs you toward the one you lack.
