I think it means s is for tracking progress to unlock certain things, like being able to purchase and use follower's weapons and armors from local trader in this case. Some of them doesn't show up in real achievement UI, like locking highmaul raid mission for reaching followers' ilvl threshold.

@Monsoont It occurred to me it might stand for Do Not Display... which makes sense based on what you just said... My bet is these will disappear from the interface in a future patch / hotfix. :)
