Elders of the Alliance

This quest-turn-in macro should help Horde players :)

Undead Mage here... Glass Cannon and fragile heart. Lived in fear of this one. I'm a miserable PVP'er (though I like it) and just knew I'd get my butt handed to me when I attempted this one.

BUT... Fellow Horde FEAR NOT!

The post above describes it well. Here's my take.

1) Stormwind. Elder is at 34,50, Elwynn Forest, right outside the gates. You won't get attacked by the guards. I fly right in and did my thing.

2) Ironforge. Elder is at 29, 16 in the Mystic Ward. If you're looking at the IF map, that's at the 10 o'clock position. I was freaking out about this, but it's not that challenging. And let me preface by admitting to being just an 'average' player who was nervous about this. (I'd never been in Ironforge before!) Use your flying mount. Fly into the gate. It will dog-leg to the left and then right, into Ironforge. The guards will shoot at you. Take a left and fly into the trenches, which will loose guard aggro. Then, follow it clockwise, until you reach the Mystic Ward area where the Elder is. Land, complete the quest and fly out the way you came. Pretty simple. I'm an 85 mage and only took about 25% damage from the guards rifles. Shoot a Huzzah and "Who's your daddy?" on your way out. (BTW - No one was in Ironforge when I was there at 3PM, PST, on a Thursday)

3) Darnassus. The Elder is at 39,32 in the Center of teh Cenario Enclave. That's on the Eastern side of the Teldrassil. Fly to Teldrassil. As you're crossing the great waters you'll get fatigue but not enough to die. Then fly around to the back of Teldrassil. Then fly up and over, to where the Elder is. Drop down and get your Achievement!

• If you're quick in Darnassus, you won't get dismounted when you turn it in.

• No aggro outside Stormwind. (Except maybe players.)

• Fly straight into the channel that runs around inside Ironforge and you'll drop aggro from the door guards. Same trick when you aggro to turn it in.
