Elwynn Forest Flash Reverse: Gold

I found the reverse gold version one of the hardest of the new races for the Eastern Kingdoms Cup.

for my race time of 60.9 seconds I focused on surge forward (1 on keyboard) for almost all the race except two sections where the yellow circles are higher in the air where I used skyward ascent - I used this twice in the whole race. After this second high section I was able to be going fast enough to recharge vigour all the way to the end and just surge forward.

What helped me the most was to zoom all the way in to first person for this race (I normally play max zoom out). In my opinion I could see the route better this way.
I found that aiming for the top of the rings helped keep me off the ground while being zoomed in.

My first couple tries I used Skyward Ascent for the upward rings but I came in a little bit too slow. On my completed Gold timer, I only used surge, even for the upward rings.

Huh, I normally fly with a moderate zoom out but kept ending up silver on what felt like good runs. First time in full first person finally got gold. Also just spammed Surge even when it used up all vigor.
