Prey: Ethereal Assassins (Hard)

To earn Prey: Ethereal Assassins (Hard) in World of Warcraft, you must defeat one of the Ethereal assassin hunt targets on Hard difficulty in the Midnight Prey system.

Targets that count
Killing either of these during a Hard Prey hunt completes the achievement:

Phaseblade Talasha
Nexus-Edge Hadim

You only need one of them, not both.

Step-by-Step
1️⃣ Pick up a Prey Hunt

Go to the Prey hub at Astalor’s Sanctum and select a hunt contract from the Prey board.

2️⃣ Set the difficulty to Hard

You must unlock Hard difficulty first by progressing through the Prey system.
Normal → Hard → Nightmare progression.
Hard hunts add extra enemy abilities called Torments that make the final fight harder.

3️⃣ Progress the hunt

In the target zone you’ll:
* Kill enemies
* Trigger ambushes
* Interact with hunt objects
* Complete hunt events

This fills the hunt progress meter.

4️⃣ Kill the final target

When the hunt meter fills, the boss spawns.
If the boss is Phaseblade Talasha or Nexus-Edge Hadim and you defeat it on Hard difficulty, the achievement pops.

Reward
You unlock the housing decoration:

Preyseeker’s Ethereal Bust
(You can buy additional copies later from the Prey decor vendor.)

✅ Quick tip (important):
Hard Prey bosses are solo/group-limited encounters — random players can’t just jump in like Normal hunts. Bring 1–3 strong players if your gear isn’t high.
