If you're having trouble with getting too low and landing on the ground, clipping objects and losing momentum, taking turns too wide and missing vigor orbs, etc, on this race, try zooming into first-person view. I found it worked very well, both for reverse and advanced.

The first orb in this (reverse) direction can be collected twice with a 270 right turn, providing a bit of an "extra life" in case of a bonk on branches or such. It's probably not optimal but I did the course after double-collecting it with about 1.5 seconds to spare.

thank you, that helped me a lot. Although I did not do the whole race in first-person view, running a few times through the first part (in advanced one) in the 1st-person view definitely helped to understand where those branches and stuff are.
