Ready for Raiding VII

Easy Solo for Level 70 Dragonflight & Beyond...

Ready for raiding back for it's seventh installment! We found this one to be quite easy (after our druids stopped trolling). This is a personal achievement meaning you don't need your entire group to do it successfully but one of the spells leaves the door open for someone else to ruin your achieve through no fault of your own.

There are only 3 mechanics to dodge this time around. As a tank or healer you will only ever see 2 of them, and as a healer you're largely responsible for the management of 1.

[spell=320784] is cast by the boss and causes every member of the group to spawn a series of swirlies under their feet that do damage. When the boss starts casting simply keep moving for a few seconds until it's over. Be sure to look where others are so you don't run in to swirlies spawned by them, and take care not to cut off anyone else in your group. As the platform got filled up we tended to take different corners of the room, but you could also stack as a group and move together but we found it easier to all be on our own.

[spell=320788] is cast on someone (never the tank) every 30 ish seconds. It roots them and puts a 16 yard circle around them. When the debuff (root) is removed they root anyone still within the circle.

[spell=287294] are cast down below when you're the target of Dark Exile as a DPS. Dodge these as you progress through the gauntlet to reach the Kyrian to return to the boss platform.

Like I said, we found it pretty easy. Nuke the boss, dodge Comet Storm, dodge Blizzard if you're a DPS sent down and make sure everyone is out of the Frozen Binds circle before dispelling or shapeshifting. You can see who the boss is targeting as he casts Icy Binds so that person can move out a little. More or less just kill the boss quickly and properly and you'll find no issues here unless you have a Feral Druid who's first instinct is to shapeshift out of the roots (thanks to Equipaje-Area52 for this one).
